About Me

Robert Paul Hudson
In 1999 I started a WEB site called Aqua Botanic to offer information on keeping aquarium plants and as a way for internet folks to reach me to purchase plants. By 2001 this became a full time business. Also in 2001 and 02 I had two feature articles published in Tropical Fish Hobbyist magazine: The basics of aquarium gardening, and Creating a foreground. In 2003 I had a feature article published in Freshwater and Marine Aquarium magazine called Creating your own planted aquaria art, which showcased photo entries of a plant aquascaping photo contest from my WEB site. In 2006 I had a feature article in Aquarium Fish Magazine titled Improving on Nature, which was about various hybrid and cultivar aquarium plants. Starting in January of 07 I took over writing the Planted Tank column in Freshwater and Marine Aquarium magazine. Also in FAMA that year I wrote an article about traditional Dutch planted aquariums, which was something I was extremely proud of. In 2008 I was again published in TFH, twice. I have more articles slated for TFH, FAMA, Aquarium Fish, and possibly Practical Fish-keeping, a British magazine for 2008 and 09.
